By booking an appointment with Rustic Scruff Grooming ("we", "us", "our"), you ("client") agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We provide pet grooming services including, but not limited to, bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning. A complete list of services and current pricing is available on our services page. Pricing may vary based on size, coat condition, and behavior of your pet.

Appointments may be booked online, by phone at (815) 518-5153, or in person. Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash and major credit cards. A valid credit card may be required to be kept on file to secure your appointment.

We understand that plans change. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment are free of charge.

• Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the appointment) are charged 50% of the booked service amount.
• No-shows are charged 100% of the booked service amount to the card on file.

Please call (815) 518-5153 as soon as you know you need to cancel or reschedule.

All pets must be current on rabies vaccination. Please notify us of any health conditions, allergies, medications, or behavioral concerns before your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet showing signs of illness, contagious conditions, or aggression that puts our staff or other animals at risk.

Severely matted coats may require shave-downs rather than scissor work, which can expose skin irritations hidden beneath the mats. Additional fees may apply for excessive matting, de-shedding, or extra handling time. Your pet's safety and comfort always come first.

We may photograph your pet before, during, or after grooming and use those images on our website (including our portfolio), social media, and marketing materials. No identifying information about you or your pet will be shared. If you prefer your pet not be photographed, please let us know in writing at the time of booking.

While we use professional, gentle handling techniques, grooming carries inherent risks, especially for senior pets or pets with medical conditions. By using our services, you agree that Rustic Scruff Grooming is not liable for pre-existing conditions aggravated by routine grooming. We carry general liability insurance and will notify you immediately of any incident.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Pets not picked up within 30 minutes of completion may incur a holding fee. Pets left more than 24 hours after the scheduled pick-up time without contact may be considered abandoned per Illinois law.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Grundy County, Illinois.
